The ATB Experience - Last updated 01 September 2010.
ATB - Sunset Beach DJ Session

Another change of direction for ATB as he launches a new mix CD. This is not a new 'The DJ' compilation as it's "a different concept" and there will be 4 brand new ATB tracks with this release, one of which is entitled "Could You Believe". More information will be added as and when it becomes available.

ATB - The DJ (In The Mix) 5

The latest The DJ (In The Mix) compilation was released in December 2009 and for the first time included three CDS. The third CD holds 'classic tracks' as selected and mixed by Andre.

ATB - Future Memories

And here we have the seventh ATB full length LP. Before the album was released Andre stated that Future Memories would show another change of direction for the 'ATB Sound', and true to his word the LP held tracks with 170+ BPM tracks. This LP, as with Two Worlds and Trilogy, was released with two CDs - one for the club and the second for more chilled out moments.

ATB also changed how this album was promoted - this time there were no CD singles before the release of Future Memories, instead two tracks (What About Us and L.A. Nights) were released at the same time as digital only downloads, with a video for each. Behind followed a few months later (a production with Flanders).

I wonder how the next ATB album will be promoted?!!

ATB - The DJ (In The Mix) 4

The DJ (In The Mix) 4 brought us a few new ATB Remixes; the first for some time. For this compilation ATB remixed 'Jean Michel Jarre - Vintage' and 'Mark Norman - Ventura'.

ATB - Trilogy

The sixth ATB album was released three years after the last full length LP, No Silence. Here we see another 2CD album from ATB - CD2 is a no vocal chill out CD.

There was a lot of hope for Trilogy as the lead single from the LP was originally lined up to be Justify. The track was being hammered by many of the bigger DJs and was getting a lot of promotion, however something changed and Renegade was selected as the title track, a collaboration with Heather Nova.

Feel Alive was released a few months later & Desperate Religion and Justify followed with digital only releases. A platinum edition was released around the time of the 2007 ATB In Concert event in Poland.

ATB - The DJ (In The Mix) 3

Here we have the third instalment to The DJ (In The Mix) series. For this compilation Andre created two new mixes of Summer Rain (136BPM Mix and 132BMP Mix).

ATB - Seven Years (1998 - 2005)

The first ATB 'greatest hits' collection showcased all of ATBs hits, right from 9PM (Till I Come) through to Humanity, the latest ATB release at the time. Seven Years brought us a few new tracks too, namely an update to Let U Go (ReWorked with Jan Löchel), Take Me Over, Far Beyond and Trilogie (Part 2). A 2CD limited edition was also released at the same time and included all of the ATB videos to date, including the brand new Humanity video.

Many thought this compilation would mark an end for the ATB project - how wrong we were!

ATB - The DJ (In The Mix) 2

The second instalment of The DJ (In The Mix) brought us a new remix of Here With Me (A&T Remix), a new remix of Intencity (New Clubb Version) and a brand new ATB track - Recreation, which was produced with Rudee (also known as Josh Gallahan).

ATB - No Silence

So here we have the fifth ATB album, No Silence. Andre gave No Silence its title as the tracks are not separated by silence, each track mixes into another. No Silence brought us the hits Marrakech (also used for the title track of the Mindhunters movie), Ecstasy and Here With Me. A limited edition was released which included a video and two Alex MORPH remixes of Marrakech and a chill out version of Ecstasy.

ATB - The DJ (In The Mix)

We started hearing rumors that ATB would release an official mix compilation around the time that Dedicated was released, but nothing saw the light of day, until The DJ (In The Mix) was announced in 2004. For this compilation ATB and Kontor released a limited edition vinyl single - Sunset Girl/ In Love With The DJ.

ATB - Addicted To Music

The fourth ATB LP was released in 2003 and Roberta Harrison took lead in all of the vocal songs, with Ken Harrison taking charge with writing duties. I Don't Wanna Stop, Long Way Home and In Love With The DJ (which was released after The DJ (In The Mix) was released. The new version included some extra vocals).

There was a limited edition 12" of Addicted To Music released - only 1000 copies were made available by Kontor Records, each one was individually numbered and signed by ATB.

ATB - Dedicated

Dedicated is the third full length LP from ATB. This LP spawned ATB's biggest hit in Germany to date - Let U Go, his version of the Wild Strawberries song 'Wrong To Let You Go'. The first ATB version appeared on the Two Worlds LP and the 2001 remixes and radio edit featured a new verse to reflect the original. Roberta provides vocals for Let U Go, along with Hold You, Hero and I Wanna Cry; the later two were dedicated to the people who died as a result of the 9/11 attacks in New York.

ATB - Two Worlds

Two Worlds is a 2CD concept album from ATB. CD1 is titled 'The World of Movement' and CD2 is titled 'The Relaxing World'. Two Worlds gave ATB the opportunity to work with several others artists including Heather Nova, York, Enigma and Roberta Carter Harrison of the Wild Strawberries. It's a well known fact that ATB is a big fan of Michael Cretu aka Enigma! Roberta and Ken Harrison are behind some of ATBs biggest hits and the collaboration between ATB and the Harrison's is the biggest in the ATB music archive.

As with Movin' Melodies, Two Worlds was released by Kontor Records (Germany) and Radikal Records (USA). ATB was dropped from Ministry of Sound after the release of Movin' Melodies, so Edel Records (Club Tools) picked up the release of Two Worlds.

ATB - Movin' Melodies

Movin' Melodies was the debut LP from ATB - the album contains 9PM (Till I Come), Don't Stop and Killer. This LP reached #34 in the UK Album Charts in 2000 - quite an achievement for the time.

Movin' Melodies was released by Ministry of Sound/ Data Records (UK), Kontor Records (Germany) and Radikal Records (USA); the UK edition contained a second CD with videos, pictures and exclusive remixes of 9PM (Till I Come), Don't stop and Killer.
